The truck game can be brutal at times with competition breathing down your neck with what feels like endlessly deep pockets. However, what’s unique about the custom truck world is that you can always reinvent yourself with a fresh look and there will always be a healthy aftermarket universe to support your habit.
Michael Simpson has been in the custom car and truck game for quite a while and his Silverado has seen its fair share of iterations. Although it’s hard to believe now, Michael had this sexy Silverado lowered at first with nothing but go-fast mods. He’s quick to point out that even back then, he was taking him show trophies. However, just as fashion changes with the season, the lifted truck world eventually took hold and Michael and the team at Dreamworks Motorsports in Roxboro, NC began the transformation.
Originally built with a slightly smaller set of wheels from a different brand that were painted black and orange, Michael decided to switch it up right before the 2020 Daytona Truck Meet. Needless to say, the new shoes certainly garnered some serious attention at and since the show. Michael noted that he favors the way his new JTX Forged wheels are painted to compliment the vehicle’s unique wrap vs. the orange in the suspension.
