GO WITH THE FLOW
Flow form. Rotary forging. Spun formed. Flowy Forgy Forged. It doesn’t really matter what you want to call it, the process remains the same. JTX isn’t reinventing the wheel here (literally or figuratively). We’re just getting in the game – finally.
This is different, though. Now you can get all of your truck and SUV wheels from your favorite truck or SUV wheel company. What a concept! You have a lifted Super Duty on JTX, now Wifey needs her momma-mobile on JTX, too! Do it for your marriage. Do it for your kids. Do it for the ‘Gram. Do it so you can flex on TikTok. We promise you’ll go viral (not really).
Introducing the JTX DRIVE Series, a bold new direction in truck and SUV wheels. Built using an advanced flow formed, rotary forging technique, each wheel begins as a precision-cast core and is spun at high speed while extreme heat and pressure are applied to the barrel. This compresses and aligns the grain structure of the aluminum, which increases tensile strength and allows for a thinner, lighter barrel. The result is a wheel that offers improved load capacity, reduced weight, and the aggressive styling and durability you expect from JTX.
We know, that’s too technical. They’re strong and light and have JTX on the center cap. What else do you need to know?

So what’s so special about JTX DRIVE?
This series hits that sweet spot between strength, weight and cost. Would you like to have fully-forged wheels on your new SUV? Sure. Do you NEED them? Probably not.
Instead of just casting molten aluminum into a mold and calling it a day, rotary forging takes it a step further. Once the wheel is cast, it’s spun at high speed while heavy rollers press against the barrel. That process stretches and compresses the metal, tightening up the grain structure — kind of like how forging steel makes it tougher.
The result? A wheel that’s lighter, denser and stronger than a standard cast wheel while sharing characteristics with a fully-forged wheel but without the price tag of a fully-forged wheel. Less weight at the barrel means less rotational mass, which translates to quicker acceleration, shorter stopping distances, and sharper handling. In real-world terms: your truck or SUV feels more responsive without giving up durability.
HOW TO FLOW FORM
STEP ONE
The cast wheel is locked onto the flow-forming drum, and heat is applied to prepare the aluminum for shaping.
STEP TWO
Hydraulic rollers press against the barrel, slowly stretching and shaping the metal under controlled pressure.
STEP THREE
As the wheel spins, the barrel is both stretched and compressed to reach its precise width and density.
STEP FOUR
This process realigns the aluminum’s grain structure—creating a barrel that’s lighter, stronger, and more durable, much like a fully forged wheel.
